Happy Tails Animal Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to finding new homes for adoptable companion animals in the Jacksonville, Florida area. When possible we foster them until permanent homes can be found. We maintain an educational program to encourage owners to spay or neuter their pets and to promote the humane treatment of all animals.
Join us at our Adopt-a-Pet events every Saturday at PetSmart at Regency Square in Jacksonville, FL from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.!
The loving pets you will see on this page came from different places. Some of them were abandoned and in desperate need of medical attention, some of them were turned in due to a change in their family. All of the pets we offer live in private foster homes until they are ready for adoption. Some of the cats may be shy at first but once they know that they are safe in a home with people they can trust, they will be wonderful companions.

Our adoption fee is $75.00 and up. All of our cats and dogs are spayed or neutered, are up to date on all of their vaccinations, the cats have tested negative for feline aids and feline leukemia and the dogs have tested negative for heartworms unless otherwise stated. Our adoption policy does require an application, not only does this help us to get to know you better and to make sure that the companion animal you have chosen is right for you and your family, but it also provides for the safety of our furry friends.
